Neben seinem Franziskus-Xaverius-Missionsverein grĂŒndete er weitere Vereine, die das politische und religiöse Leben Aachens prĂ€gten und ĂŒber die Stadtgrenzen hinaus wirkten. Trotz seiner vielen Verpflichtungen fand er noch Zeit, eine preisgekrönte medizinische Abhandlung ĂŒber die HirnhautentzĂŒndung, eine Schrift ĂŒber die christliche Liebe und eine fĂŒnfbĂ€ndige Missionsgeschichte zu verfassen. Hahn starb im Ruf der Heiligkeit. Seit 2000 betreibt die Diözese Aachen seinen Seligsprechungsprozess. 2015 erklĂ€rte Papst Franziskus per Dekret Heinrich Hahn zu einem "verehrungswĂŒrdigen Menschen".
