Auf Berlins KleinkunstbĂŒhne "Schall und Rauch" begann die Karriere des Kabarettisten Joachim Ringelnatz. Im Verlauf der 20er Jahre folgten unzĂ€hlige Kabarett-Auftritte in allen gröĂeren deutschen StĂ€dten. Ringelnatz war im deutschsprachigen Raum ein bekannter Dichter, Humorist und Vortragslyriker.Mit dem derb humoristischen Seemann Kuttel Daddeldu hatte er eine neue Kunstfigur des Literarischen Kabaretts geschaffen. Das Ringelnatz-Programm war abwechslungsreich gestaltet und fand ein begeistertes Publikum.Seine Gedichte sind mal humorvoll, unverschĂ€mt-frivol, mal polternd, nĂ€rrisch und vergnĂŒglich, dann wieder tiefsinnig-betrĂŒbt. Er nimmt die kleinen Dinge des Lebens eine Briefmark, eine Seifenblase, ein StĂ€ubchen oder eine Ameise, aber auch das menschlich-allzumenschliche ins Visier: Liebe, Laster, erfĂŒllte und enttĂ€uschte SehnsĂŒchte. Die Sprache der Gedichte ist wunderschön geringelt wie das Seepferdchen, das dem unvergleichlichen Dichter seinen Namen einbrachte.
