CHAPTER 9
DIVISIONAL ORGANIZATION AND OPERATIONS
The brigade of each division and each independent brigade have their arrival date, their headquarters location and their departure date listed. The infantry and artillery units under their command, and the dates they served, are also given; combat units attached to the division follow at the end of the listings.
Divisions carried out dozens of extended operations and hundreds of small operations during their stay in Vietnam. Some lasted no more than a few hours, others lasted several weeks, a few lasted months. They varied in size, scope, objective and many operations were combined between more than one division; they all had a name. Listed below are dates, operational names and location of many of these operations.
