The rules go on to say that when the agent is in any doubt, he should apply the larger rate and leave it to the customer to file a claim. You won't catch Mike Flannery making a mistake when it comes to Interurban Express Company rules! "Pigs is Pigs"; Mr. Morehouse owes 60 cents, not 50. Mr. Morehouse goes home to write letters of complaint, but the guinea pigs must be fed, and pretty soon there are 8 guinea pigs and they are all hungry.
