Bei der Gedichtsammlung SPÄTLESE handelt es sich um ein Projekt, in welchem Bilder und Texte des Autors vereint publiziert werden. Die Gedichte und Fotos stammen aus einer langen Schaffensperiode von über vierzig Jahren. Die Themen und Spannungsfelder sind dementsprechend vielfältig: Natur und Gesellschaft, Jugend und Alter, Wahrheit und Lüge, Liebe und Enttäuschung, Reichtum und Armut, Leben und Tod u.a.m.Texte und Fotos bilden jeweils eine Einheit. Durch eine bewusste Kombination eines Gedichts mit einem Bild werden sowohl die Aussage des Textes wie auch jene des Bildes verstärkt, selbst wenn Text und Foto aus zwei ganz unterschiedlichen Perioden stammen. Insgesamt enthält die Sammlung 50 Gedichte mit den entsprechenden Bildern.
