CHARLIE BANNOCKS (CHORUS)
Charlie will be appearing in The Seasoning House directed by Paul Hyett as ‘Villager girl’ a sex trafficked Balkan girl, which premiered as the opening film in Film4’s Frightfest in Leicester Square. She recently performed in Shakespeare’s Library at The Barbican, as part of The RSC’s World Shakespeare Festival. Theatre includes: Songstress in Shakespeare’s Library (Strangeworks/The Barbican), Thel in Visions of Tiriel and the Daughters of Albion (Wilton’s Music Hall), Chorus in La Bohème (OperaUpClose at Soho Theatre), Laddie in The Lost Boys (Future Cinema), Mia in Kafka’s Judgement (RETZ’s/ Somerset House), The Bride in Blood Wedding, Phoebe in The Seance and Eva in Chatroom (The Palace Theatre Westcliff). Teaches at Westminster Under School and St Paul’s School for Boys.
JULIAN CHARLES (COLLINE)
Julian Charles studied singing with Adrian Thompson. He was a member of the Welsh National Opera Company for two years performing Don Carlo, Der Fliegende Holländer, La Damnation de Faust, Tosca, Don Giovanni and Mazeppa. Since then Julian has performed with leading ensembles and conductors across Europe such as Essa Pekka Salonen, Peter Schreier, Gregor Nozvak, Jeffrey Tate, Carlo Rizzi and André de Ridder, the Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, London Handel Players and London Mozart Players. In Recital he has sung at the Wigmore Hall, Oxford Lieder Festival and Chelsea Schubert festival. Last year Julian toured England, France and Switzerland with Diva Opera and this year England with Pavilion Opera. He has sung at Buxton Festival Opera, Opéra Municipale and recently the Soho Theatre in a production of La Bohème which won both an Olivier Award and Whatsonstage Award and is now revived at the Charing Cross Theatre with plans for performances in Dublin in 2013. Other plans include Handel Messiah (Peterborough Cathedral), Fauré Requiem (Norwich Cathedral), Beethoven Symphony 9 (The Anvil Basingstoke/Royal Festival Hall), Elgar The Dream of Gerontius (Laeiszhalle Hambur), Verdi Requiem (Staatstheater Bamburg), Gounod Mors et Vita (Le Silo Marseille).
NICOLAS DWYER (MARCELLO)
Previously with OperaUpClose as Escamillo in Carmen and as Alidoro in Cenerentola. Nicolas has performed at Grange Park Opera as the Jailer in Tosca, the Herald in Rigoletto and as Captain Petrovich whilst covering the title role in Eugene Onegin. Roles elsewhere include Guglielmo in Così Fan Tutte (Situation Opera), Javert in Les Misérables (Pimlico Opera Prisons Project) and roles in contemporary operas at the Tête à Tête and Grimeborn opera festivals. Nick recently resumed studies at Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
DICKON GOUGH (COLLINE)
Dickon trained at LIPA, studied Opera at Birkbeck University and is a former member of the National Youth Choir of Great Britain.
