Eigentumsschützende Regeln finden sich auf der nationalen Rechtsebene ebenso wie im Internationalen Recht. Die Habilitationsschrift untersucht die z. T. diametral widersprechenden Ansätze zum Problem des eigentumsrechtlichen Wertschutzes von Anteilsrechten im deutschen Verfassungsecht und des internationalen Rechts. Dafür wird die deutsche Rechtslage mit Ansätzen im Recht der Europäischen Menschenrechtskonvention, im allgemeinen Völkerrecht und im Internationalen Investitionsschutzrecht verglichen. Dabei zeigt sich, dass die Ansätze im Völkerrecht teilweise den gebotenen Rückgriff auf etablierte nationalrechtliche Konzepte vermissen lassen.
