Vittorio De Sica has been one of the greatest actor of the Italian cinema. He was born in Sora (Frosinone) in 1901. He was lanky, nice, tipically southern and, more specifically Neapolitan (owing to a stay in Neaples).
He soon began appearing on the scenes despite his accounting degree wanted by his parents. At 22 he was in Pavlovaâs troupe as second comic actor, then he moved to others troupes. He was loved by the audience even because he could sing in a simple but sentimental way.
