On the basis of theoretical reflections and practical field reports, a partial but multifaceted portrait is drawn, encompassing development cooperation with ecumenical partners in the Global South, education on development related matters and advocacy vis-à-vis state and politics. Today, KED is an important instrument of the Churches to take responsibility for this world in an interconnected civil-society.
