Are human beings to be considered free for, in or without religion – and are they only to be so considered? Is there a mutual (or at least one-sided) dependence between religion and the experience of meaning or are these entirely independent from each other?The authors ponder these and related questions with constant reference to Paul Tillich who substantially contributed to answering them.
