In dieser Arbeit wird erstmalig die Gotteslehre des niederländischen Theologen K. H. Miskotte als Offenbarung des Eigennamens Gottes untersucht. Miskotte ist in Deutschland weitgehend unbekannt geblieben. Wahrgenommen wurde er als dialektischer Theologe im Gefolge Karl Barths und als einer der Väter des jüdisch-christlichen Dialogs. Indem Miskotte Barths trinitarischen Gottesbegriff durch den Namen Gottes ersetzt, legt er die Grundlage für eine eigenständige Theologie. Sein Verständnis von Offenbarung als Offenbarung des Namens Gottes wird mit Hilfe der kausal-deskriptiven Theorien zur Funktion von Eigennamen untersucht. Miskotte which has its focus on the revelation of the proper name of God. Miskotte has remained largely unkown in Germany. He was mainly noticed as a dialectical theologian like Karl Barth or as one of the fathers of the Christian-Jewish dialogue. Replacing Barth's trinitarian conception of God by the name of God he lays the foundation for an independent theology. His understanding of revelation as a revelation of the name of God is examined with the help of causal-descriptive theories on the function of proper names. They help to understand why according to Miskotte the statement "JHWH is God" is not reversible.
