Dialogische Theologie

About this book

Contributions to Jewish-Christian Dialogue and the Relevance of Rabbinic Literature]The 40th anniversary of the study program "Studium in Israel" was the occasion to take a look at Jewish-Christian dialogue and at research in Rabbinic literature asking for the situation today and for future perspectives. The first theme was central at the annual conference of "Studium in Israel" in Hannover in January 2018, the second theme at a conference at Hebrew University, Jerusalem, June 2018.This volume collects the papers of both conferences and adds some more papers on the themes mentioned. With its two foci – Jewish-Christian dialogue and Rabbinic literature – it reproduces the central movement of the study program "Studium in Israel": Christians enter into dialogue with Jews and get into contact with traditional Jewish literature, its relevance for a deeper understanding of the partner in dialogue and its richness for Christian theology.
