Es gibt weithin ein 'GefĂŒhlsschweigen' in der homiletischen Diskussion. Zwar ist allgemein bekannt, welch große Rolle Emotionen in der Predigt fĂŒr die Predigtrezeption spielen, in der homiletischen Forschung aber wurde die Frage nach den GefĂŒhlen im Predigtprozess im deutschsprachigen Kontext der vergangenen Jahrzehnte weitgehend ausgeklammert. Das Internationale Bugenhagen-Symposium 2013 am Atelier Sprache e.V. in Braunschweig erkundete das "Erlebnis Predigt" von dieser Fragestellung aus. Ein Beitrag aus der Kommunikations- und einer aus der Literaturwissenschaft zeigten, wie andere Disziplinen sich den Emotionen nĂ€hern. Empirische Untersuchungen zur Predigtrezeption aus dem deutschsprachigen Bereich wurden vorgestellt. Was Predigt als "Erlebnis" bedeuten kann und wie sich diese Perspektive zu dem "Ereignis" der Predigt in theologischer Hinsicht verhĂ€lt, ermittelten die weiteren BeitrĂ€ge u.a. durch Wahrnehmungen in der Musik, in der Ritualtheorie und in der politischen Predigt in SĂŒdafrika.
