Die Usability des Intranets der Mediengruppe Oberfranken : Eine empirische Studie mit Handlungsempfehlungen (Volume 9)
About this book
In the winter semester 2017/2018 a master seminar at the Institute for Communication Science at the University of Bamberg under the direction of Dr. Florian Mayer and Dipl.-Journ. Martin Hüsener examined the usability of the newly designed intranet of the media group Upper Franconia. Four user groups relevant for the media group were considered: managers, trainees, administrative staff and members of the internal editorial team. The three or four subjects in each group had to solve general and group-specific tasks on the intranet using the "method of thinking aloud". In addition, they were interviewed before and after. The processing of the tasks (usage behavior and verbalization) recorded by video camera was transcribed. This book represents the final report of the teaching research project, in which 13 master students worked. The theoretical foundations of the study are described, the course of the project is documented in detail and concrete recommendations for action are formulated on the basis of the results of the study.
