About this book

ATA Chris Gordon, renowned poet and author and born to the parents of Isaac and Barbara Gordon, was born on July 14, 1968, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Being reared in a spiritual environment, Chris realized he was blessed at an early age with the gift of psalms and poetry, inspired by the Holy Spirit. Upon graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served eight years as an aircraft fighter. During his tenure in the military, Chris has had the opportunity to tour many countries such as Africa, Japan, Australia, the Philippines, France, and China. Touring these countries opened up Chris spiritual eye, which inspired him to continue to express in words the beautiful works of God. Knowing that God had a greater plan, Chris was allowed the opportunity to visit the Holy Land in Jerusalem, where he walked on the sands of the land and sailed the Red Sea, by way of the USS Midway, receiving an even greater inspiration. Upon receiving Christ as his personal savior, Chris began to write more passionately about the manifested works of Christ in his own life. He knew writing was more than just a hobby; it became his ultimate passion. Chris is a member of the Destiny Christian Ministry, where he received his motivation to write his first book. He is married to Cabrina Taylor Gordon; he is the father of Destiny Beunca Gordon and grandfather of Matthew C Gordon. Chris states that through his years of living, learning, and experiences in life, he acknowledges that God's words are true, He keeps his promises, and He has never left him nor has he forsaken him.
