Hitler´s mother. Hitler had this worn photograph in a neck pouch over his heart throughout the entire war. It was his talisman throughout his fight of many years and is still his most precious possession. Hitler says that he has died twice in his lifetime: beside his mother´s grave and when the revolution broke out, he feeling blind and helpless in the face of the destruction of the work carried out by the German front-line soldiers, this also having been his life´s work…

Hitlers Vater war österreichischer Zollbeamter. Über seinen Vater als Erzieher schreibt Hitler: „… er legte, wenn auch gänzlich unbe-wußt, die Keime für eine Zukunft, die damals weder er noch ich begriffen hatte.“
