There are four big reasons why people fail to either start the process of trying to achieve their goals or simply quit when trying to achieve the goals that get them towards their overall outcomes in life.
These four reasons are:
People saying, ā€œI donā€™t have enough time in the day to deal with my desires.ā€
People saying, ā€œI donā€™t have enough money or finances to do what I want to achieve in my life.ā€
People saying, ā€œI donā€™t have the understanding or knowledge to be able to achieve my dreams.ā€
People saying, ā€œI havenā€™t started or completed my dreams because I donā€™t want to fail.ā€
Letā€™s look at some statements that you may have told yourself or had others tell you, particularly related to negative thoughts around time:
ā€œMy workday is so busy, I barely have the time for my family let alone myself.ā€

Ask yourself this: have you ever wondered how some people do a ton of work in such a brief amount of time and still have time left to do the things that make their life excitable and enjoyable?

The problem is not a lack of time because everybody has the same 24 hours in the day. The problem is the lack of effective time management. The people that are much more effective than you donā€™t have 25, 26, or 30 hours in the day. So, weā€™re going to focus on getting you more organized throughout your day.
You will start by understanding where you are at right now.
You do this by writing down everything that you do in your day for the next 72 hours. The reason why I encourage 72 hours is because your daily activities may change day to day. I want you to maximize your chances for success by incorporating the majority of the things that you do throughout your week.
Doing this was one of the biggest things that helped me become more efficient in my day. Realizing how much time I spent on the computer, watching TV, or doing other nonproductive things, was an eye-opener! By doing the exercise, I realized I was wasting 20 hours a week on TV shows, Facebook, and useless web browsing. Imagine having almost an entire day back in your week for the dreams and goals that you desire.
This is the importance of writing things down instead of thinking about your day and trying to mentally evaluate it. By writing things down, you are less likely to overlook or forget something. Iā€™m confident that you are ready to make the investment in yourself and see how you can make your day more time efficient. Think of the 72 hours as a minor investment that will give you back hundreds, perhaps thousands of hours. More time for yourself, family and love ones, and the dreams and goals that you have.
