Why believe in Bible Prophecy?

About this book

Have you ever attended an end-times study or lecture and leave out having more questions than answers?Have you read parts of Daniel and Revelation and are totally clueless as to what it all means?I was once that person above. However, after attending a lecture several years ago, we were told repeatedly that we were to search deeper not only in the Bible but events in past history as well as today's events to find the truth. I'm sure we can all agree that we are living in end times, but "where are we at, when did it start?" are just some of the questions asked. I took each of the sections of the lecture and really started studying not only what he had talked about but looked further and deeper. What I have in this book explains the kingdoms and time lines with Old and New Testament prophecy. Both fulfilled and yet to happen.I looked back at the early church to see how they believed. The Catholic Church to see what was changed and why and at what Protestants differed in their beliefs.Did you know that the baptism of Jesus was prophesied in Daniel and it happened right on time? There are many clues as to who and what the antichrist is, and it leaves no question. Even the early Protestant ministers knew what a lot of churches today have forgotten. So, dive in and read the information that I have researched and written about to help you understand and believe. And don't just believe me, search for the truth yourself.

The Judgment (Part 1)
Mt 7:1
Judge not, that ye be not judged.
Mt 7:2
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Matthew 7:1 is the most misquoted verse in the Bible today. If a person is doing wrong and knows it to be wrong, they might say, “Hey, don’t judge me.” If you add the context that it’s in, Matthew 7:1–2, we will all be judged someday. If you judge someone in some way or set a standard such as the length of their hair or the clothes they wear, you will be judged by that manner. Remember in Jesus’s day, the Pharisees not only observed the Sabbath but they added a lot of other laws for the Sabbath. They had set a standard to which they could be judged by.
Mt 12:36
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
Mt 12:37
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
We know that someday we will be judged. When will this take place? Let’s start with Acts 17:31 and start laying out when.
Acts 17:31
Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
Paul states that the world will be judged. Will be is still in the future.
Rom 2:16
In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
Paul states in the verse that God shall judge. Again, there is going to be a day.
Heb 10:30
For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
Here in Hebrews we see that the Lord shall judge his people. Again, it hasn’t happened but is going to happen someday (future).
Rom 14:10
But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
Once again, we shall all stand before the judgment seat. The cross has already taken place, so sometime from the cross to some point in the future, we shall be judged.
AD 31
We know our judgment is to come sometime after the cross.
Rv 14:6
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
Rv 14:7
Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
Let’s stop for a minute and look at the word angel. Messenger is in some translations is used in place of angel. If you look at the word angel in Greek from the Greek translation, you see the word angolos. In the New Testament, this word is used here and in Matthew 11 as well as Luke 7:24–27. The word an...
