Poesie vegetali / Green poems è una silloge poetica bilingue, curata da Maria Rosaria Cesareo e Barbara Carle, frutto di un lavoro di ricerca e setacciamento dell'intero percorso creativo di Lino Angiuli, nell'arco temporale di un cinquantennio, inseguendo il filo verde di quell' umanesimo vegetale di cui l'autore può definirsi – a ragione – il "seminatore". Questa selezione antologica, questo volo ricognitivo, come del resto l'intera produzione poetica di Angiuli, è sostanzialmente un'immersione nella madreterra, una vera e propria dichiarazione d'amore e d'intenti, reale e simbolica, che da sempre il poeta rivolge a una Terra dalla forte personalità e dai connotati naturalistici che ne fanno una delle perle del Mediterraneo: la Puglia. I testi sono tradotti in inglese dalla poetessa Barbara Carle, che da Sacramento (California), nella cui Università insegna Italianistica, ha pensato di intraprendere la non facile impresa di "trasportare" i versi di Angiuli nella lingua internazionale, spingendo la nave al largo, in direzione degli States.
