Die zweite Solopartita in d-Moll von Johann Sebastian Bach (BWV 1004) aus den "Sei Solo á Violino senza Basso accompagnato" wurde in dieser Ausgabe für Solotrompete bearbeitet und mit Ausführungshinweisen versehen. Damit werden erstmals auch Solowerke von Johann Sebastian Bach für Trompete zugänglich und konzertant aufführbar. Die Sätze 1 - 5 sind vollständig von der Solotrompete aufführbar, Satz 5 (Ciaccona) wurde zusätzlich für Trompetenquartett bearbeitet und entsprechend in einem durchgängig vierstimmigen Satz ausgeführt.Diese Ausgabe der 2. Solopartita von Johann Sebastian Bach (BWV 1004) schafft die Möglichkeit, Bach's bedeutendstes Solowerk im Original komplett auf der Solotrompete zu spielen - inklusive der Ciaccona.
