Este volumen reĂșne trece artĂculos firmados por investigadores del ĂĄmbito de las literaturas ibĂ©ricas, procedentes de distintas universidades del Estado Español y de los Estados Unidos. Todos ellos se centran en la literatura del escritor vasco Kirmen Uribe, cuya obra goza de un considerable impacto internacional, ya que ha sido ampliamente traducida. Se trata de la primera obra colectiva dedicada al estudio del trabajo literario de Uribe, y, a pesar de que su novelĂstica sea el principal objeto de anĂĄlisis de los artĂculos que contiene este volumen, tambiĂ©n se incluyen trabajos que versan sobre sus libros de poesĂa, la literatura infantil y juvenil o estudios mĂĄs generales sobre la poĂ©tica del escritor. El compendio de artĂculos se inaugura con un interesante texto de Uribe, titulado "Manual de desobediencia", donde explica su actitud en torno al propio quehacer literario y los principios que han regido su andadura hasta el momento.
