Dublin

Sultry rather than sexy, Dublin exudes personality as only those who’ve managed to turn careworn into carefree can. The city has seen its fair share of triumph and disaster, but Dubliners treat both as imposters and continue to grind out the good times, which have finally become that bit easier after the crash and burn of the recession. They do so through their music, art and literature – things in which Dubs take immense pride.
Dublin has fascinating museums, mouth-watering restaurants and the best range of entertainment anywhere in Ireland – and the pub, the ubiquitous centre of the city’s social life.

Dublin in Two Days
Start with Trinity College and the Book of Kells before ambling through St Stephen’s Green and Merrion Square; in the afternoon visit the National Museum of Ireland – Archaeology. The next day stop at the Chester Beatty Library on your way to Dublin Castle, then spend the afternoon at the Guinness Storehouse.
Dublin in Four Days
Follow the two-day itinerary, but stretch it out by refuelling between stops at some of the city’s better pubs. Add the Irish Museum of Modern Art and Kilmainham Gaol to your sightseeing list. On day four become a whiskey expert at the Old Jameson Distillery and a literary (or beer) one with a Dublin Literary Pub Crawl ( GOOGLE MAP ;
