Two Days in Reykjavík
Spend the morning exploring historic Old Reykjavík and afternoon shopping and sightseeing along arty Skólavörðustígur. Head to Laugavegur for dinner, drinks and late-night dancing.
On day two, catch a whale-watching cruise or explore the Old Harbour MAP GOOGLE MAP and its museums in the morning. While away the afternoon at Laugardalur and your evening at a top Icelandic restaurant.
Four Days in Reykjavík
On day three, rent a bike at the Old Harbour and ferry out to historic Viðey (www.videy.com), heading back for last-minute shopping in Laugavegur and Skólavörðustígur. Sample the area’s seafood then catch a show, an Icelandic movie or some live music.
