Old Montréal
On the edge of St Lawrence River, historic Old Montréal is a place of picturesque squares, cobblestone streets and grand old-world architecture. Atmospheric lanes, like narrow Rue St-Paul, teem with art galleries, shops and eateries, while green parkland fronting river views define the Old Port. Nearby Chinatown is a small, wonderful dose of Pacific Rim cosmopolitanism in eastern Canada.
