This book answers these two questions. It provides modern scientific explanation to important concepts, especially meridians and qi. What are meridians made up of? What are acupoints? What is qi? Can they be seen?

This book presents copious pictures taken by infrared images method. They provide the objective evidence how acupuncture works, what are meridians madeup of, and what is the measurable effect of qi.Each thermograph has more than ten thousand pixels. Each pixel is associated with onetemperature to the accuracy of 0.1 0 C. So the science of acupuncture becomes a quantitative science with enormous accurate numbers as supporting evidence.

This book contains twenty nine easy to read articles, which cover many important topicsin acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
