Il ritrovamento fortuito di un manoscritto dell'Alto Medioevo celato nella Bibbia Plantijn riportante un brano miniato del Messale della seconda domenica di Pentecoste; una ricerca paleografica ed un'analisi sperimentale, altrimenti impossibile, della prima stesura dei pigmenti a contatto con la pergamena, normalmente non accessibili in fase di indagine, comparazione dei pigmenti, scelti in base al colore ed alla composizione chimica comunemente utilizzata nel periodo medievale, stesi su pergamena con leganti indicati nei ricettari dell'epoca. I risultati ottenuti andranno a vantaggio degli interventi di diagnostica, conservazione e restauro di manoscritti miniati.
