Showcasing the work of both Winslow Williams, one of Loudouns best and most prolific photographers, as well as the efforts of doting parents and grandparents, friendly neighbors, and enthusiastic playmates from throughout the area, this book provides a one-of-a-kind glimpse at the county from a uniquely personal perspective.

They are Hannah Cecilia Humphrey Beans Thomas, Owen Thomas Jr., Owen Isaiah Thomas (1859–1956), Joseph Holmes Thomas, and Elizabeth Cecilia Thomas (Potts). Standing is Emma Hannah Piggott Thomas and her mother, Elizabeth Holmes Piggott. The photo was taken at “Glenowen,” located on Williams Gap Road in Round Hill, Virginia.
