Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit wurde die interessante Aldolreaktion als zentraler Kupplungschritt in der Totalsynthese von Epothilon im Detail studiert. Für die Ausführung der Untersuchungen wurden diverse Aldehyde (einfache Aldehyde, ?- chirale Aldehyde und funktionalisierte Aldehyde) und die beiden Antipoden des Ethylketons (61 und 169) benutzt.
