Mit der Hinwendung zu den subjektiven Erfahrungen, die bei interkulturellen Begegnungen gesammelt werden, stellt sich die methodische Frage, wie jene rechenschaftsfĂ€hig gemacht werden können. Einerseits ist fĂŒr die Betroffenen die subjektive Dimension interkultureller Begegnungen hĂ€ufig das PrĂ€gendste. Andererseits lassen sich subjektive Erfahrungen nach den Kriterien einer auf Evidenz basierten Forschung aber nicht verallgemeinern: Was subjektiv ist, lĂ€sst sich von Dritten gerade nicht aussagen. Im vorliegenden Sammelband werden VorschlĂ€ge zur Lösung dieser Herausforderung gemacht: aus der Perspektive der Fremdsprachendidaktik, der Kulturwissenschaft, der Mediendidaktik, der Begegnungsforschung, der entwicklungspolitischen Kooperation, der interkulturellen PĂ€dagogik und der PhĂ€nomenologie.
