About This Book

Da alcuni anni ormai la linguistica dei corpora (un approccio metodologico basato sull'analisi di ampie raccolte di testi in formato elettronico progettate e costruite ad hoc) e le sue applicazioni costituiscono un'importante area di interesse scientifico presso la Scuola Superiore di Lingue Moderne per Interpreti e Traduttori dell'Università di Bologna a Forlì. Un composito gruppo di ricerca opera al suo interno, con interessi che vanno dalla terminologia allo studio della letteratura, dalla didattica alle lingue straniere alla traduzione. Queste ultime due aree di ricerca sono state al centro del seminario di studi "Corpus Use and Learning to Translate", tenutosi a Bertinoro (Forlì) il 14 e 15 novembre 1997 da cui provengono sette dei dieci contributi raccolti nel presente volume. A questi contributi si aggiungono tre nuovi saggi scritti per l'occasione.
