Der Begriff der Fiktionalität spielt i.A. eine zentrale Rolle bei der Unterscheidung zwischen literarischen und nicht - literarischen Texten. In der vorliegenden Untersuchung wird strikt zwischen literarischen Texten und literarischer Kommunikation unterschieden. Literarische oder ästhetische Kommunikation wird verwendet, um das auszudrücken, was nichtliterarisch unausdrückbar ist. Zentral in dieser sprachwissenschaftlichen Arbeit ist somit der Begriff des Ästhetischen, und zwar in Verbindung mit dem Begriff der Sinneswahrnehmung.
