Grande sonate, published Chez Breitkopf & HĂ€rtel Ă Leipsic, c.1812. Original title: Sonaten, Kl f-Moll. Lithograph, landscape format, pl. no. 1729. 17 pp. including title page recto and blank page verso. Blank page verso and first page of music includes the library siglia of âBayerische Staatsbibliotek Munchen' while the first page carries the shelf number '4 Mus.pr. 21870â aka. 4 Mus.pr. 9272. In the top right hand corner of the title page an unknown author has added Reichardt's dates: â1752-1814â.
In common with normal editorial procedures, redundant accidentals have been omitted, while extra accidentals conforming to modern practice have been included. Slurs and ties made with the dashed line are editorial. All grace notes (absent slurs in B&H) have been slurred to their principal notes without further remark. The anachronistic practice of placing augmentation dots in proportion with the notes they represent (sometimes over the barline) has been suspended and modernised to include tied notes as appropriate. Double bar lines have been added before changes of key according to modern convention.
