Dans le cadre des 12 e Entretiens du Centre Jacques Cartier s'est tenu un colloque sur l'agriculture biologique. Organisé par l'Institut Supérieur d'Agriculture de Rhône-Alpes et l'Université Laval, cet événement a permis de faire le point sur la situation de l'agriculture biologique en Occident. Des chercheurs, enseignants, acteurs locaux et producteurs de plus de vingt pays étaient présents. Quatre thèmes ont été couverts: l'état de la situation en Europe et en Amérique du Nord, les enjeux face à une spécialisation des systèmes de production, les agriculteurs et l'évolution des marchés, les enjeux des politiques publiques.
