As a mediator of the teaching-learning process in higher education - a case study of the Paulo Freire Library (PA)
About this book
This research aims to highlight the importance of the University Library in higher education in the teaching-learning process, having as a case study the Paulo Freire Library, where since 1987 it has been implanted in the CCSE Campus I of UEPA. To show the scenario of the Paulo Freire Library as mediator of the teaching-learning process of higher education in the Pedagogy, Literature and Trilingual Secretariat Courses. Carry out a comparative study of the PDI, PPI, the norms established by MEC in order to show the reality found in the Paulo Freire Library. To identify the needs of the Paulo Freire Library placed by the subjects-users through the field research carried out in the Pedagogy, Literature and Trilingual Secretariat undergraduate courses. To guide the analysis process, the theoretical approach of historical materialism is used, as it constitutes the paradigm with the greatest epistemological possibilities to account for an examination of the representation of ideas and at the same time the observation of the reality exposed in the research.
