Unter dem Titel "Forschendes Service Learning" werden zwei Lehrformate miteinander verknßpft, die das Forschende Lernen mit dem Lernen durch soziales Engagement vereinen. Das Buch bietet einen Einblick in drei Lehr- und Lernforschungsprojekte der Sozialwissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Technischen Hochschule Nßrnberg zum Thema Obdach- und Wohnungslosigkeit. Dabei kommen sowohl Studierende der Sozialen Arbeit, Praxispartner*innen als auch die Herausgebenden selbst zu Wort. Die fachliche Auseinandersetzung mit den Lebenswelten wohnungsloser Menschen wird ergänzt um eine kritische Bewertung des Lehr-Lernformats "Forschendes Service Learning" im Kontext der Hochschulbildung.
