In diesem Band wird das viel diskutierte PhĂ€nomen der "Krise der Demokratie" aus der Perspektive verschiedener Fachwissenschaften analysiert. Ausgehend von dem Begriff einer "multiplen Krise" befassen sich die BeitrĂ€ge mit (sozio)ökonomischen, politischen, sozialen und kulturellen Dimensionen der aktuellen Krise. Prominente Autor*innen gehen der Frage nach, welchen Einfluss der Neoliberalismus auf Demokratie und Menschenrechte hat und wie sich die Entwicklung vom Neoliberalismus hin zum Illiberalismus vollzogen hat.
