1. Allah
images
There is no god but Allah.
There is none worthy of worship and obedience except ONE GOD.
God is ONE and ALMIGHTY.
ALLAH is an Arabic word.
It is the proper name for the One and only God.
Allah is Unique.
There is none like Him.
He has no partner.
He has no children and no parents.
He is Eternal.
He has always existed and will never die.
He knows everything.
He sees everything.
Although we cannot see Him, He is everywhere.
He is the Creator of the Universe.
He is our only ‘Lord’.
Allah is Great and Merciful.
He is Kind and Loving.
He has provided us with everything.
He created us in the best form.
He created the world for us.
He sent Prophets to guide us,
to tell us how to obey Him;
how to live like good human beings;
and be happy and successful.
2. Islam
images
Islam means obedience.
Obedience means to accept, to submit and to follow.
Islam, therefore, means to submit to Allah and to follow His Commands.
Allah is our Creator and Master.
Success lies in following our Master.
We must all obey His Commands, both in words and actions.
Allah does not force anybody to obey His Commands.
He left us free to obey, or not to obey.
This is a trial.
Real success in this Life and in Life after Death is in obeying Allah.
Islam also means peace.
True peace lies only in following Allah’s Commands.
Therefore Islam means ‘peace’ and ‘obedience to Allah’.
It is obedience which brings peace.
Islam seeks peace through obedience to Allah – Our Creator and Master.
3. Muslim
One who believes in and obeys Allah and His Messenger is a Muslim.
A Muslim obeys Allah in the way taught by the Prophets.
True belief or faith in what Allah and His Prophets taught is known as IMAN.
One who truly believes and trusts in Allah is a MUMIN.
A Muslim surrenders freely to Allah but a Mumin truly believes and trusts in Allah.
We are Muslims.
Islam is a great blessing.
It is a great blessing to be a Muslim.
We are proud and grateful to be Muslims.
We thank Allah for this blessing.
A Muslim believes in:
• ALLAH
• the ANGELS
• the BOOKS OF ALLAH
• the PROPHETS
• WHATEVER COMES TO YOU, GOOD OR BAD, IS FROM ALLAH
• LIFE AFTER DEATH
4. The Prophets

led all the Prophets in prayer.
Allah gave His Guidance through the Prophets.
He selected the Prophets according to His choice.
They were men of great virtue and character.
Their mission was sublime and noble.
Their lives were truly pure and honourable.
They put Allah’s Commands into practice.
Their lives are models for mankind.
They were the true leaders and guides of human society.
Man’s life on the earth began with the Prophethood.
The First Man was also the First Prophet.
His name was Adam (peace be upon him).
Adam was created by Allah.
We are all children of Adam.
A Prophet cannot be God.
A Prophet was a human being like us.
None of the Prophets claimed to be God.
Every Prophet received guidance from Allah.
Every Prophet obeyed Allah and invited others to obey Allah.
Some of the Prophets received Books from Allah.
Others followed the Books revealed to the Prophets before them.
A Prophet who received a Book is called Rasul (Messenger).
A Proph...
