112: What is an Intercloud?
Answer:
Intercloud is a convoluted term used to describe a scenario in which multiple clouds are linked together to provide service to its users. The intercloud scenario comes in handy when we think of singular clouds running out of resources and computational power; as a result, they seek the help of other clouds. This, in a way, can also be seen as a ‘cloud within a cloud’.
