What is the ICND 1 (100-105) exam?

The acronym ICND stands for Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices, then number one (1) means that this is the first part of the two parts that the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) exam has (ICND 1 + ICND 2 = CCNA), and the digits 100-105 represent the exam code issued and standardized by Cisco all over the world. In one sentence, ICND 1 (100-105) exam tests a candidate's knowledge and skills related to network fundamentals, LAN switching technologies, routing technologies, infrastructure services, and infrastructure maintenance.

What are the ICND 1 (100-105) exam topics?

In general, it is an unwritten standard that is practiced by the IT industry when it comes to certification exams. Usually, exam objectives or topics represent general guidelines for a certain certification exam issued by the exam client (in this case, Cisco) that are likely to be included in the exam. At the same time, as Cisco updates exam questions from time to time without prior notice, it will necessarily update exam topics so as to better reflect the content of the exam. From what was said, you will find ICND 1 (100-105) exam topics in the following sections.
