Introduzione

Author’s note
I started writing and painting when I was a child. Fascinated and curious, I was always looking for new books to read, I also liked the smell of the freshly-printed pages. It was the same for pictures and paintings, I often made some attempts, especially with colours or with other materials and I really liked to sketch animals and nature. Now I do all else in my life, in fact, I’m working for a telecommunications company, I studied accounting and psychology, but always with a hint of creativity.
I hope that my writings will reach everyone with uniqueness, I’m sure that spontaneity is one of the truths of life. I like to play with metaphors and hidden meanings, but I don’t want to disclose anything, I give the readers carte blanche to use their own interpretations, emotions and feelings, each one will find his own way to draw from them what will nourish his soul.
The continuous tormented, passionate, suffered, loving talks with my soul, about the seasons of life without answers is recurrent and longed for, with numerous counter-proposal comparisons in real life but not completely defined. I’m always looking for the keys of access to my soul.
What flower would I like to be? A many faceted flower associated to love: The Red Tulip. Have a good Life!

Nota dell’autrice
Un fiore associato all’amore, dalle mille sfaccettature: Il Tulipano Rosso. Buona Vita!

Presentation
Eternity itself, and the eternity of a flower, is shown in the moment the latter opens and shows itself to the world. From the maroon tulip, the wonderful intoxicating essence of the thousand and one nights, opened. “Tulband” the true symbol of perfect love, that honest, eternal and disinterested one, transmitted in enchanted stories of the literary and propitious language. Di Giovanni is the promoter of spiritual potions that bewitch one’s senses and, like many small needles, prick and awaken every single emotion... infused, from the numerous and beyond-expectation ingredients of the human mind, the lapping of the waves, the shining of the stars, the pale moon, the sounds of unreal and oriental melodies, the bells that awaken memories, moments. Ointments that undo knots, of days and hours, where the whirlwind makes one blind.
Indecipherable algorithms blend, creating anaesthetic melodies that alleviate pain, “Music will help to find the path again, to take control of my life again... Far away from the pain” poetic resemblance of a philosophic Vecchioni.
She sees loneliness as a synonym of a friendly force of a light not light. Di Giovanni hermetically honours her homeland and coastlines with nuances. Like a Dannunzio devotee, she listens and echoes their songs that evoke like sirens the return of Ulysses. She lets the characters of her works wear their masks, she defines them as fears from which one must disrobe, she punishes them with words. Now I ask you a question, author “Disrobe of your fears”... If those masks were to allow man to show his true self to the world along with his most complex behaviours? And without them he would feel lost? Pirandello’s vision of how often people judge with prejudice without having truly lived.
Lisa talks about eternity, about a never-ending infinity... “To classify the event in one’s life is like drawing a curve to close a circle of an infinite diameter” ...
There is a constant chase among her verses that never sees a destination.
Compositions that contradict themselves to a strong will, of an existence beyond matter, beyond the end but which in this transitory life, find an ending. The reader finds a duality of style, in first and third person... what enchants the most is a sense of belonging and is expressed deeply, what hurts or scars the most can be felt from afar.
Your creatures, Lisa, are your vision of the world and the promise of a sailor who now belongs to his infinite sea.
Can one say one has lived, if one has not experienced a whirlwind of emotions, those that have nourished us, made us go mad, full of amazement or expectations, those that have made us what we are now and ever? To be able to say we have encountered the play on words, of which Love is the child? The author puts emphasis on what man is truly about, the mysterious chemistry of molecules that change every day and remain the same... echoes of Einstein’s thought on those who consider love the one and only force in the world. Rare combinations, often suffocated by the gloomy haze of an asphyxiating life.
Di Giovanni collects notes from which one can draw on when in need of nourishment, small nibbles, so that they may fully feed our souls.
Secret gazes where the friendly and unfavourable eternal time flow “The Earth produces fruits and the waters flow impetuously in all directions... And the tiresome wait, in the impossibility to offer the fruit of the banquet”.
I wish to be enchanted by the writer’s authentic nature, and to you future readers who partake in this banquet, may this truth become yours “you can write forever but you will be sure of your existence only when you take action”.
