Basic Word Roots and Common Suffixes

In Chapter 1 you will work with basic word roots and a handful of common suffixes. (These are listed in the Mini-Glossary below.) You’ll examine many compound medical terms and discover meanings for all the parts. You’ll practice adding various endings to roots and combining forms.
