Was versteht Paulus unter "Evangelium"? 150 Jahre Forschungsgeschichte sind dieser Frage nach einem Schlßsselbegriff urchristlicher Theologie nachgegangen. Die vorliegende Dissertation macht einen Interpretationsvorschlag in "frischer" Perspektive: "Evangelium" wird unter den Rahmenbedingungen von Kommunikation als "Kommunikationskonzeption" verstanden: Das Evangelium - wie Paulus es denkt - ist eingebettet in einen multidimensionalen Prozess, der kommunikationwissenschaftlich analysiert werden kann. Anhand eines bewährten Kommunikationsmodells von G.Maletzke untersucht die Arbeit verschiedene Aspekte der paulinischen Konzeption von Evangelium: Seine inhaltliche Dimension (Aussage/Programme), die Art seiner Vermittlung (Medien/Kommunikationsprozess), die Person des Kommunizierenden (Kommunikator und sein Beziehungsgefßge) und die Zielgruppe (Rezipienten) werden aus der Perspektive des Paulus erarbeitet und im Zusammenhang der Gesamtkonzeption verortet. Es entsteht ein Interpretationsmodell, mit dessen Hilfe sich der zentrale paulinische Begriff vollständiger als bisher deuten lässt.
