Der imposante undumstrittene Machtmensch und Macher – unter seinen Mitstreitern als "Revolver-Karl" bekannt – beschreibt lebhaft, wie er gemeinsam mit DevisenbeschafferSchalck-Golodkowski den Embargohandel organisierte und dafĂŒr nach der Wende vor Gericht kam. Offen und packend gewĂ€hrt Nendel einen tiefen Einblick in die Wirtschaftspolitik der SED und den Aufstieg des Schlossersohns und gelernten Elektrikers zum StaatssekretĂ€r und Regierungsbeauftragten sowie den Beginn einer neuen Karriere nach der Wende.
