In der vorliegenden Edition wird diese Ordinariumsvertonung im solennen Stil erstmals fĂŒr Forschung und Praxis zugĂ€nglich gemacht und durch einen kritischen Kommentar wissenschaftlich erschlossen. Die Edition wird durch eine detaillierte Quellenbeschreibung und AusfĂŒhrungen zur Komposition ergĂ€nzt; zudem wird eine Einordnung in den historischen Kontext der Nepomuk-Verehrung der 1720er Jahre unternommen. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf der Textgenese und den autographen Änderungen. Die RevisionsvorgĂ€nge und weitere AuffĂ€lligkeiten des Schreibvorgangs sind in einer separaten Tabelle dokumentiert. Da das Partiturautograph die einzige erhaltene Quelle darstellt, mĂŒssen fĂŒr die AuffĂŒhrungspraxis erforderliche Informationen mithilfe zeitgenössischer Materialien erschlossen werden, wofĂŒr Hinweise und VorschlĂ€ge mitgegeben werden. Der Kritische Bericht mit Anmerkungen zur AuffĂŒhrungspraxis bietet Hilfestellungen zum VerstĂ€ndnis von Fux' Notationsgewohnheiten sowie der editorischen Entscheidungen. Die begleitenden Texte liegen in deutscher und englischer Sprache vor.
