Mittels der verschachtelten Dreiecksgeschichte erzählt Strasburger von Träumen, Leidenschaften und Lebenszielen in den unterschiedlichen kulturellen Settings und entwirft damit ein Bild des Nahen Ostens, das der Fiktion ebenso entspringt, wie es den erlebten und recherchierten Fakten entspricht.'Besessenheit.Libanon' wagt es, anders zu erzählen, um besser zu verstehen.
