Geburtstag der Surrealismus-Bewegung (2019) veröffentlichen wir zwei Texte, die Dadaismus und Surrealismus im Zusammenhang zeigen.Ré Soupaults Essay Tristan Tzara, Begründer des DADA wurde am 25.12.1968 als Feature im Abendstudio des Hessischen Rundfunks gesendet, ihr Essay Wir haben uns geirrt: Die wahre Welt ist nicht, was wir geglaubt haben - Die Entstehung des Surrealismus, am 11.6.1974. Der 8. Februar 1916 gilt als das Gründungsdatum von DADA in Zürich. Hans Arp, Hugo Ball, Viking Eggeling, Richard Hülsenbeck, Marcel Janco, Hans Richter, Tristan Tzara und viele andere gründeten mitten im Ersten Weltkrieg eine Bewegung, die bis heute an Einfluß in Gesellschaft, Kunst, Film und Literatur nicht verloren hat. Im Frühjahr 1919, einige Monate nach Ende des Ersten Weltkriegs, schrieben Philippe Soupault und André Breton im Hotel Grands Hommes in Paris den ersten surrealistischen Text der Literaturgeschichte Les champs magnétiques (Die magnetischen Felder). Zusammen mit Louis Aragon – der Dichter Guillaume Apollinaire hatte die drei jungen Männer miteinander bekannt gemacht – begründeten sie die Surrealismus-Bewegung. Sie wurden die "drei Musketiere" genannt. Auch der Surrealismus hat an Aktualität nicht verloren.
