Die Arbeit stellt Forschungsergebnisse zur Effektivität durchgeführter "Parent-Teen" Mediationen in den U.S.A. vor und skizziert zur Veranschaulichung der heutigen Praxis in den Vereinigten Staaten und Kanada die wichtigsten Resultate geführter Interviews mit erfahrenen Mediatoren. Eine Zusammenfassung der wesentlichen Untersuchungsergebnisse sowie ein Ausblick auf die Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten der Eltern-Jugendlichen Mediation in Deutschland beschließen die Masterarbeit. Im Anhang werden abschließend die einzelnen Mediationsstufen praxisorientiert und komprimiert dargestellt.
