Monarchie ironisch bezeichnete, erneut zu einem Gegenstand der Reflexion: 1914 starb der österreichische Thronfolger Franz Ferdinand bei einem Attentat in Sarajevo, 1918 endete der Erste Weltkrieg mit dem Zerfall der Monarchie.
