Die misslichen Umstände zwangen sie dazu. Werner Großmann zog auch nicht freiwillig in den Kalten Krieg. Die Umstände sorgten dafür, dass der gelernte Maurer Geheimdienstler wurde, landläufig Spion genannt. 1986 übernahm er von Markus Wolf den Auslandsnachrichtendienst der DDR. In einem Gespräch mit Peter Böhm macht der inzwischen 88-Jährige reinen Tisch. Er berichtet über sein schwieriges Verhältnis zu Mielke, Honecker und zum Parteiapparat. Probleme ganz anderer Art bekam er mit Hansjoachim Tiedge, als der Spionageabwehrchef der Bundesrepublik in die DDR überlief...
