Vier Jahre hat Tim Hackemack an dem Projekt gearbeitet, neben seinem Job, seiner Familie und seiner eigenen Band, dabei über 15.000 km zurückgelegt und unzählige Stunden in Recherchen investiert.Die Bilder sind nach einer Punk-Devise entstanden: Red nicht – geh los! Keine Maske, keine stundenlangen Bildbearbeitungen. Die Protagonist_innen konnten sich die Locations selbst aussuchen und eigene Ideen einbringen. Auch an der Auswahl der Bilder waren sie beteiligt.Die Bilder zeigen Menschen mit Ecken und Kanten. Sie bestätigen und widerlegen zugleich den Mythos der Jugendkultur.
